I am writing this post in response to the person who let me an anonymous comment on my last blog entry...
Dear anonymous...
Thank you for your concern. I really appreciate it. HA.
Apparently, you don't really know me, or you are someone who knows me well and is trying to play some funny joke on me.
First off let me explain...
1. If I offended you by what I wrote on Carly's blog, you have BIG issues. Offended by sweatshirts... hmmm.
2. I actually don't think that anything is wrong with a sweatshirt. I myself wear them from time to time. I made the comment as an inside joke to Carly because we always joke that she is going to turn into some who just throws on a sweatshirt and leaves the house. If you know Carly, this could never be the case. She is very fashion forward and loves to accesorize! My friend Jenn from VA says that everyone wears sweatshirts. IT WAS A JOKE!
3. Thanks for throwing in the Christian thing... very clever. By the way I am a sarcastic person, luckily that doesn't determine my Christianity.
4. Maybe my words sound different to you because you read them differently then they were meant... you were the one who read them, right? I didn't say them out loud to you:)
5. If you want to be confrontational, maybe you shouldn't have used an anonymous tag.
Have a nice day!

I get annoyed when people leave annonymous comments and don't put their name. I 110% agree with the sweatshirt/jean thing in that region. Being that I lived in IN for 26 years people absolutely wear that all the time....although I am probably the worst at it! :) Maybe i'll be better and be a fashionable MAMA! :)Hope you're doing great, girl!
Erin...it was you wasn't it! You left the anonymous comment, I knew it. You probably have worn pajama pants in public too, haven't you? JK.
Dear Anonymous,
You know you hated on my bff, which means you hated on me and that just doesn't happen in our little circle of bloggers! I believe that that in your case the pot has called the kettle black. Don't make come to where ever your anonymous self lives and teach you a thing or two about trying to be smart with my friend! You should think about posting your name, especially when the blog post you referred to (posted by me), was shallow to begin with! Please don't think I'm shouting I'm really kidding, I do that when I'm uncomfortable with something. I'm very non-confrontational myself. But seriously, don't take life, or blogging so seriously it's all in good clean fun.
Love, The Mrs.
BTW, ask me if I own a sweatshirt?
This ordeal would be EVEN FUNNIER if anonymous knew you well... you know... like... well enough to know who your husband is: The Law!!
Please refer to various pictures of him with lots of his guns... that guy's freakin' sweet... (and packs a LOT of heat... like... a lot)
Good luck with that whole "life thing" anonymous...
SLIM
(p.s. Anonymous, if you're female... I bet that Laura's husband could beat up your husband..
If you're a male, stop looking at porn and get a job.)
i hope that person was trying to put on a self-righteous front. That was ridiculous
Carly, you're right. It was me. I left the comment. Yeah right! But you are right about one thing, I have most def worn pj pants to the store... more than once. Don't tell anyone. HA HA! :) And don't hate me :)
I think people say things like what annonymos said to you to make themselves feel better. I will pray for them. Maybe they are in a bad place in their life. I feel sorry for anyone that feels the need to attack over jeans and sweatshirts when the world has real issues!
You tell 'em
Dear Shallow Hal (oh wait, I mean Laura),
I am deeply sorry that you took offense to my comment. I was merely trying to make you see that it is okay for people to dress differently. Perhaps, people in the midwest and other parts of the country do not feel the need to concern themselves with the way they look when they go to the grocery store. I am sorry that I would rather spend money on my child than on fancy jackets and "cute sweaters." I would advise you to come and live in this part of the "US" before passing judgement.
Sincerely,
Hillbilly Midwestern "Sweatshirt Diva"
Dear Anonymous...
Virginia is not in the midwest.
Continue having a nice day!
Ahhhh! Who is is this person and why won't they write their name? Apparently, they don't know about the Lindsey List.
It had better be your brother b/c if it's not then I'm going to do something drastic. I don't know what it is, but it will be drastic, I can tell you that.
BTW...Linds if you read this and are wondering what the Lindsey list is, it was from a long time ago, and shouldn't worry you in the slightest!
I want to apologize. I read your comment and was offended and made a rash response. That was completely wrong and I am sorry. I have to admit that after looking through your blog, you don't seem to be the least bit shallow. In fact, you seem like a very nice person. I will not pester you anymore. I really do feel bad because you seem like a very kind person.
-Anonymous
ha.... sucker...
In all seriousness though... I reacted bad too, Anonymous.
I'm sorry for my un-kind words too.
I take it all back.
Love,
SLIM
Yeah... just kidding... I meant everything I said.
If nothing else good has come from this, I think that you have received more comments than ever before! Maybe it's time to update again. You could write about the rain, the possible new dog, or about things you're looking forward to. Just some suggestions.
If it makes you feel any better I don't like any of you and I think you all are shallow...except Slim, he is soo cute
hmmmmmmmmmmmmm, Laura- I really tried to see what all the fuss was about... ( you know what could possibly be that offensive.....I couldn't find it? Strange!?
Sorry!!!!
this is the strangest list of comments ever,
was that a different anonymous or the same one that was trying to hit on slim?
I find all of these comments quite funny.
Car said the anonymous might be from IN - if it's someone from my blog who got on your blog I'm gonna be peeved. Let's stalk them. :) THey are giving IN a bad name - we aren't like that in the midwest, we are friendly and love everyone...people who wear sweatshirts and people who don't.
So, step up, whoever you are. If you are my friend, we're going to have WORDS.
